The Editor of the RLN is appointed by the Diocesan Bishop. The Editor’s ministry includes serving the Diocesan Bishop, parishes, clergy and people in the diocese by:
- Oversees the publication and distribution of the RLN’s monthly e-magazine and weekly e-newslatter
- Working with RLN’s advisory board to conceive themes and content possibilities for the monthly e-magazine
- Soliciting and editing articles and content submissions for the e-magazine
- Gathering editorial images and working with an external designer to create a high quality, aesthetically appealing layout for RLN’s e-magazine
- Maintaining communication with diocesan parishes and remaining attentive to happenings in the local and national Anglican Church in order to report on news and events through RLN’s weekly e-newsletter. Constructing, editing, and publishing the e-newsletter
- Maintaining RLN’s Wordpress website and social media presence through Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter
- Soliciting wider engagement with RLN in the form of subscriptions and content contributions
