The Office Coordinator is hired by the Diocesan Bishop. The Office Coordinator’s position includes serving the Diocesan Bishop, parishes, clergy and people in the diocese by:
- Being the face and voice of the Anglican Centre, willing to help in many ways.
- Ensuring the building at 935 Nesbitt Bay runs smoothly or facilities management.
- Maintaining and updating the rupertsland.ca website
- Compile information from a variety of sources and disseminate to the wider diocesan community via a weekly mailing of “4 your parish”, sent to all Clergy, wardens, treasurers and administrators.
- Creating, distributing, receiving and compiling Year End forms so they can be submitted to the appropriate party.
- Supporting planning for various events. Namely Synod, Faith Horizons, the annual Clergy Study conference, as well as any other Diocesan events (ordinations, etc.)
- Offer support and troubleshooting to many ministry leaders besides the ones that work at the Anglican Lutheran Center. Examples are Refugee Committee, Black Anglicans, PWRDF, etc.
