Pinawa Christian Fellowship is a small ecumenical congregation, recognized by the Anglican Church of Canada, The Presbyterian Church in Canada, the United Church of Canada, and Mennonite Church Manitoba. We have been worshipping together successfully for over fifty years. We are a flexible group. While our style of worship is traditional, it is a blend using each denomination's particular rites. Communion (about 6 times a year) is an open table to all that attend worship. We are seen as the congregation of the community, being approached to perform services (funerals, weddings, etc.) for those without formal affiliation to one of the other churches in town.

We do not own a building preferring to use our resources to help others locally, regionally, and globally. Pinawa is located in eastern Manitoba on the edge of what is commonly known as cottage country. Our community has recently seen an upsurge in tourism, which has brought an influx of new residents. Some are young families, others recent retirees. We are seeking a new minister/priest who, together with our leadership team will steward our financial, spiritual and people resources, help us to grow, and find our new way of being post pandemic.

Applications for this position will be received until close of business on Tuesday, April 5th, 2022.  For further information and a complete application package contact The Ven. Simon Blaikie, Executive Archdeacon, at 204-992-4212 or email at exec.arch@rupertsland.ca
